Life International Christian Academy (LICA) is an independent school that is registered with the Rwanda Education Board (REB) and Accelerated Education Enterprise (AEE) South Africa. The school has been in operation since 2014 and caters to children from 2 years to grade 12.
LICA operates as an international school that was established to glorify God by offering a Christ-centered, quality education that assists parents in developing leaders and disciples of Christ in Rwanda.The school was started by a couple, Birungi Ronald and Birungi Ram and whose first students were their 4 children. Since its inception, LICA has been committed to assisting parents in the training and education of their children. It is the desire of the Ronald, Ram, the administration, and staff that all our students would become disciples of Jesus Christ in whatever career they choose to take.
LICA utilizes the Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E). the program which is currently being used in 142 countries around the world. Accelerated Christian Education is an individualized, self-paced, biblically-based system of education that provides the student with a complete education in body, mind, and spirit. At LICA, we believe that education is the communication of life from generation to generation.
Students are taught how to live and not simply to make a living. LICA also teaches the students Biblical values and morals that equip the learners for life.
Over the years, LICA has been a shining light to the community of Kigali and has seen numerous students graduate and go on to colleges and universities such as Oklahoma Christian University, Huntington University, Grace College Concordia University, Adventist School of Medicine of East-Central Africa, and More.
